
I recently found a blog entry on Juice - Pure Digital Marketing, where a recent survey was completed on digital PR. There were some interesting results.
The main reason for companies not utilizing digital PR efforts and social media usage is the "lack of knowledge." Almost 50% of marketing professionals reported that they did not have the necessary knowlege or technical skills that would allow them to fully explore digital PR and social media.
Not surprising was this: "...once a business implements a Social Media or Digital PR strategy they [companies] were amazed at the speed of success and the impact it has on their natural listings."
